Welcome to Cassia’s Early Learning Program!

Wayiba, my name is Allanah McNaboe, and I coordinate the Early Learning Program. I have 9 years experience working in early childhood education and care and I look forward to going on this learning journey with you all.

This program runs every Monday through Thursday 8:30 -10:30a.m during the school term. It caters for children 0-4 years of age providing opportunities to support both the child and parent to engage in play and learn together. Enrol Now! It is FREE! https://bhppilbaraeducationpartnership.wa.edu.au/early-years/registration-form/

Please note Parents need to sign in and out through the front office each time they attend the Early Learning Program.

What is the program about? The Early Learning Program implements the Abecedarian Approach which is an evidence-based program that integrates learning and development in a fun and effective way.

The Abecedarian Approach key elements are:

Language Priority

Making every experience a learning opportunity for talking, listening and learning language with your child.

Enriched Caregiving

Adding educational value to daily routines.

Learning Games

Playful adult and child interactions that are fun and simple.

Conversational Reading

Reading which encourages back and forth communication with your child.

The Early Learning Program provides the opportunity for school readiness especially if your child will be attending Cassia Primary School.
