Through the generous support of BHP, Bloodwood Tree is proud to be commencing a new Food Bank Mini Mart service from the rear of its Main Administration Building at 19 Hamilton Rd, South Hedland.
This new service commences this Tuesday 2nd June and operates Monday through to Friday 9am-12pm. There is also transport assistance and a home delivery service available.
The Mini Mart will be stocking non perishable food items, such as flour, sugar, breakfast cereals, long life milk, tinned fruit, tinned meat, spreads, laundry powder, tooth paste, tooth brushes, rice, pasta, noodles etc
All stock will be 20% less than the RRP of local supermarkets. Stock that is donated will be 50% less than the RRP of local supermarkets.
The holders of all benefit cards – healthcare, pension, WA senior, Veteran etc are able to shop at the Mini Mart.
Referrals for non-benefit card holders – Any individuals/families referred from a local service/agency attesting that the client/family is in financial hardship will also be able to shop at the Mini Mart. Please see the attached Referral Form. This referral needs to be completed each time they wish to shop at the Food Bank Mini Mart. It can be signed on behalf of the client by the referral agency/service.
