Mrs Britta Brown
Welcome to Cassia Primary School, my name is Mrs Brown and I look forward to being part of the Cassia teaching staff this year. I have been working at Cassia Primary School for quite some time now, eight years to be precise. Within the last years I have reduced my workhours to part time Wednesday to Friday.
In the year 2020 I’m excited to be able to work with new graduate teachers providing support in effective pedagogy, behaviour and engagement.
On Fridays I will be teaching the Cassia Academic Enrichment Program CAEP. The program caters for students with high academic potential. CAEP is designed for selected Year 4 to Year 6 students who are operating at a level well beyond.
CAEP lessons provide extension and enrichment activities that include:
- Higher order thinking strategies
- Critical and creative thinking
- Problem solving
- Leadership skills
Mr Mitchell Watson
Hi, my name is Mitchell Watson.
I first graduated in 2014 as a bachelor in primary education. From there, I went on to work two years of relief work at a school which i found challenging, fun and engaging.
At Cassia primary I will be helping other teachers utilise their non-teaching hours by taking over their classes for certain periods, so that they can better plan for their future regimes and collaborate alongside their peers.
I will also be running a health class for certain classes, as I have a fond interest in child psychology and hold my utmost values in teaching life skills.
My hobbies include traveling. cooking, music production, language learning and snowboarding. I am also very handy in the arts of ICT, and have a very special hobby in terms of building and repairing custom computers.
Looking forward to an amazing time and adventure up north. If you have any questions, please don?t hesitate to get in contact via my staff e-mail.
